• HUD's Home Equity Conversion Mortgages for Seniors
• NCOA has developed a publication called Use Your Home to Stay at Home, which is now required to be given to all homeowners who are considering a federally-insured HECM reverse mortgage.  A free copy of this publication can be downloaded at  http://www.ncoa.org/reversemortgagecounseling
• AARP maintains an extensive consumer-oriented website, including an online reverse mortgage calculator.  Their publication, Reverse Mortgage Loans: Borrowing against your Home, can be downloaded at that site, or single copies for consumers can be obtained by calling 1-800-209-8085 toll-free.
